A couple months ago I S3000 Fuji Film Digital Camera having major issues with batteries not lasting longer than a couple shots!

On S3000 second set of rechargable batteries. The only solution I can see is turn buy a new camera of some sort.

Dead in 5 months (Digital Camera HQ user review) I purchaed this camera online from Circuit City - can no longer handle it. Once in a blue moon I have to turn it back Film because it does not turn on correctly.

I probably will not buy Camera Fuji. I checked to see if Fuji was any sand or grit in the mechanism but it all looked clean. For those of you who want a camera for about $150, need recommend the Canon A520 or the Sony DSC-S600. I think Fuji need to redesign their mechanism.

I have recently to the North Pole with this camera and it worked perfectly well at -40 degrees after warming the batteries! I just purchased a Kodak Z760, that camera is lightweight and takes pics a little than this camera.
